PHOTO ETCHING METALS
We design and manufacture photo etched components from various metals suitable for aerospace, defense, medical, electronic, filtration, automotive and many other commercial markets. Our core competency lies in producing micro-machined components, such as micro fluidic devices, screens and meshes, fuel valves, manifolds, electronic components and disc filters. Chemically Etched Miniature Systems (ChEMS®) as well as our PhotoPore® screens are two of our patented etched products which are used in critical spacecraft and medical applications.

MICRO LASER SERVICES
Whether you need our Micro Laser Service capabilities for precision laser cutting, micro welding, market or other machining, we can provide these services to you. Our laser capabilities are imperative to the markets we serve because of the demands placed for complete fabricated components on a quick-turn basis.
Positional accuracy of +/- 1 micrometer and repeatability of +/-0.5 micrometer is common place with our Micro Laser Services. Welding has deep penetration and spot welding can be as small as .005". In some case, "Hole-to Material" drilling can be as great as a 10:1 ratio.

METAL DIFFUSION BONDING - TITANIUM AND IRON-NICKEL ALLOYS
VACCO is a leader in metal diffusion bonding with over 50 years of diverse experience. Metal diffusion bonding is most suitable in applications where two similar metals need to be joined. It is widely used for production of thin-metal components and parts with very complex shapes.
Our capabilites also include diffusion bonding of titanium, a metal that is valued in industrial applications for its strength and corrosion-resistant properties. Vacco's in-house vacuum furnace enables us to diffusion bond components consisting of titanium without deformation or residual stress.
METAL ADHESIVE BONDING AND ADHESIVE JOINING
Through our metal adhesive bonding and adhesive joining services, we join photo-etched parts into simple or complex assemblies. Our adhesively bonded components, manufactured from titanium, copper, aluminum, brass, iron-nickel alloys, and molybdenum, are suitable for medical, aerospace, filtration, automotive, and defense applications. Adhesive bonding enables us to bond chemically etched parts without mechanical fasteners, which in turn enhances surface finish and appearance of the bonded components.
SCREENS AND MESHES
VACCO'S PhotoPore® screens amd meshes are etched from solid sheets of material offering superior mechanical strength, excellent electgrical conductivity, and reliable integrity of pore size regardless of flow characteristics. VACCO's PhotPore® screens can be made of titanium, nitinol, stainless steel, Kapton™ nickel, copper, or any other material etched at Vacco.
